1. How big a dog can use the steps?

The pine frame is rated for dogs and cats up to 40 kg. If your dog has an injury, is in pain or has more serious mobility problems, ask your vet first.

2. What heights can I set them to?

Four levels: 29.5, 41.5, 51.5 and 62.5 cm, so the same steps work at a low sofa, a high bed and a window seat.

3. How do I switch between steps and ramp?

The 2-in-1 frame changes over in seconds. Treads suit dogs that like clear strides, while the ramp gives an even slope with no changes in height. Puppies often start on the ramp and move to the treads later.

4. Will my dog slip on them?

The treads have a non-slip carpeted surface and measure 36 cm wide by 24 cm deep, big enough for a whole paw. A metal cross brace under the treads keeps the frame from wobbling. Place the steps firmly against the furniture before your dog uses them.

5. Can I put them away when they are not needed?

Yes. The frame folds flat and tucks away behind a door, under the bed or beside the sofa. Wipe the wooden surfaces and hoover the treads when needed.
